This keypad with built in proximity reader contains everything you need to install an access control system and is ideal for people who want to control access to authorised personnel through a door by using a personal 'pin' code or proximity tag - when a correct tag is 'shown' a few inches from the unit or a correct code is entered it operates the lock release granting access to the user.  The keypad can be used for higher security applications where a proximity tag and a code is needed to release the door.  This access unit has the following programmable operating modes code only, tag only or code and tag.,

The keypad is weatherproof so can be used inside or outside and come with the added protection of a rain / privicy shield, enabling it to be used outside. The keypad itself will take up to 500 different unique users allowing the system installer or manager to enroll or delete individual users as required. 

On the private side of the door, the kit includes both a Press to exit button, to temporarily unlock the door to allow users to enter or leave, and a resettable break glass call point unit to open the door continuously in the event of an emergency, the emergency break glass also has a visual and buzzer indication it has been activated.

The full kit incorporates a suitable power supply, 500 user keypad and proximity reader, a door release button and break glass unit, a magnetic lock and Z and L maglock fixing brackets. Effectively, this gives you all you need to set up a comprehensive access control system.
