Maglocks

A magnetic lock is a simple locking device that consists of a electro-magnetic lock and armature plate, there are no moving parts and it purely works by turning the magnetic field on and off. Magnetic locks are a truly fail-safe lock needing constant electrical power to be applied to the maglock for it to lock and as a result, magnetic lock is meet with both security and fire safety requirements.

Magnetic locks are constructed from Aluminium with the electromagnet being fully potted with epoxy compound, this ensures a long operating  life for the maglock. It is no suprise that with these characteristics, the electromagnetic magllock has become one of the most commonly installed access control lock for security engineers
