Dual Technology Detectors are ideal for more hostile environments such as factories, conservatories or garages or where a standard PIR detector have caused false alarms. For the ULTIMATE in detection reliability, the use of a PIR and Microwave technology in one detector solves these issues by using two different detection technologies that have to 'agree' before the alarm condition is passed to the control panel. This technology coupled with the KX15DT’s Blue Wave Technology (BWT) and digital temperature compensation the detector will automatically adjust its sensitivity to the environment, further enhancing the detectors immunity to false alarms and environmental disturbance.

The detectors has selectable alarm resistor values of 6K8, 5K6, 4K7 &1K & tamper values of 5K6, 4K7, 2K2 and 1K catering for most EOL control panels but is also suitable for control panels requiring normally closed loops.
