Proximity Keypad Access Control Door Entry Kit with Surface Mount Solenoid Bolt

Our New Proximity / Code operated Door Entry Kit is ideal for people who want to control access to authorised personnel through a door by using a personal proximity tag or 'pin' code - when a correct tag is 'shown' a few inches from the unit or a correct code is entered it operates the lock release granting access to the user. The keypad can be used for higher security applications where a proximity tag and a code is needed to release the door. This access unit has the following programmable operating modes code only, tag only or code and tag.

The Electric Solenoid Bolt is a fail-safe locking device that require maximum holding force or where a higher degree of security locking is required due to the physical locking of a steel 'throw' bolt. The lock is designed to be surface fitted on to any suitable wooden or metal door and frame and can be mounted in a Horizontal or Vertical position making it very flexible and easy to fit.

The power supply for this kit is a professional 12VDC regulated switchmode, wall mounted power supply as used by professional security system installers around the UK and Europe. The power supply has a battery back up facility to allow the system continue working in the event of a power failure, all you need to add is a suitable rechargeable battery that plugs onto the battery leads to enable this facility, we recommend a 7ah alarm back up battery, available in our battery section.
